Through July 31, 2006 in Orange County, the chapter:
- Responded to 38 fires and other emergencies
- Assisted 185 adults and children with food, shelter and/or counseling following a disaster
Notable Activities in 2006:
On Tuesday April 25, Red Cross was on the scene of a fire that broke out at 334 Maple Avenue at 3:45 pm. The Chapter provided emergency housing for one family of two adults and four children.
On Sunday April 23 at 4:50 pm, Red Cross responded to a fire at 84 William Street. Two families (four adults and six children) were given food, water, comfort and caring, and were provided with temporary housing.
On Tuesday April 18, at 4:32 am, a fire broke out at 19 Quarry Road. Three Red Cross volunteers assisted eight adults and provided emergency housing for seven of the eight people affected by the fire.
On Thursday, February 16 at 8:50 am, Red Cross responded to a fire at 12 Houston Avenue in Orange County, providing 3 adults and 3 children with food, clothing and emergency housing.
In 2005 in Orange County, the chapter:

- Assisted 257, adults and children with food, shelter and/or counseling following a disaster
