5 Things you should know before visiting Montreal

There are many things you should know before visiting Montreal. If you’re looking to visit a city with world-class attractions, then it’s hard to go wrong with this one.

You Can’t Turn Right on a Red

The first thing that you need to know about driving in the US is that you can’t turn right on a red light. That’s it, there are no exceptions. You will quickly learn this rule and wonder how anybody ever figured out how to drive here at all! This blog post will help you with your next visit to New York City (NYC) and give you some tips for navigating the roads as well as some of my favorite attractions during your stay.
Have you ever been to a place where the locals tell you that it’s illegal for a car to turn right on red in their city? You’re not imagining things, this is actually true. But don’t worry! We have compiled a list of the places where such laws are enforced.
You’ll find these amazing destinations below: New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago, and more!

There are Loads of Festivals

The first festival is Holi Festival of Colors which takes place in India. The next one is called Day of the Dead or Dia de los Muertos which happens every year on November 2nd in Mexico and people celebrate by wearing masks to look like their loved ones who have passed away. The third event is called Carnaval where they party for days before Ash Wednesday starts at midnight with fireworks and celebrations all day long! Fourthly, everyone should visit Rio during Carnival.

There are loads of festivals to choose from, but which is the best for you? We’ve put together a list of the top 10 in North America so that you can find out. If you’re interested in music, head to Austin for SXSW or Jazz Fest in New Orleans. For foodies and wine lovers, there’s Oktoberfest (Germany), Taste of Chicago (Chicago) and Napa Valley Wine Festival (Napa). Take your pick!

Montreal is Bilingual

Montreal is a city of two languages: French and English. You can get by with only knowing one language, but it’s more fun to know both! Montrealers are bilingual in the truest sense of the word. It means that they speak not just one language, but two. The city has been designated as an official bilingualism zone by law since 2006. This means that all services must be offered in both languages (English and French), so you don’t have to worry about being left out or misunderstood because you’re not fluent in either language.

Metro Means Subway

The New York City Subway System is the largest in North America. It has over 1 million daily riders and transports millions of people each day. The MTA, which operates the subway system, is constantly renovating stations to make them more accessible for those with disabilities. Stations undergoing renovations are labeled with a large “R” on their entrance or above the station name on signage (pictured).

The NYC Subway system is one of the most extensive subway systems in the world. With 24/7 service, you can always count on a train to be coming your way when you need it. For anyone who wants to explore all that New York City has to offer and doesn’t want to deal with expensive taxi fares or parking tickets, riding public transit is an economical and time-saving option for getting around!

The City Has One Major Airport

There are many airports that serve the city of New York, but only one major airport. This airport is among the busiest in the world and serves as a hub for Delta Airlines. The John F. Kennedy International Airport is located on Jamaica Bay in Queens, New York and ranks first in size among international airports serving North America with about 6 million travelers each year coming through its gates. It also has one of the longest runways in the world at 4 miles long and can accommodate large aircraft such as 747s and 777s which fly to destinations around the globe including Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and more!
